Hotel excellently located in the centre of Oviedo, just a few minutes' walk from Plaza de la Escandalera and Calle Uría (the city's commercial and nerve centre), about 10 minutes' walk from the cathedral. staff is charming and very solicitous. They gave me a lot of practical information about the city and offered me and brought up an oil radiator as the central heating was not on at this time of year (mid June). room itself is simple but comfortable and spacious enough. Not so the bathroom, is a bit too big. Not only did they attend to my requests, they also had the courtesy of assigning me a double room, having reserved a single one. wifi was working very well. They have two parking lots arranged, within 20 seconds walking distance from the hotel door. One (Longoria Carbajal) at 11. 50 euros/day and other at 10. 50 euros/day. I recommend without a doubt the first one, Longoria, because it has wider and more comfortable places, even for another more important fact: it is 24 hours, other one is not. I consider that at 38 euros a night the single room, only accommodation, has a pretty good value for money.

Whoever travels with their own vehicle and wants to park in the street, near the hotel, is going to have a hard time. To begin with, street of the hotel has no parking spaces, surrounding streets have very few spaces. My room had very little natural light, as it was not only inside, courtyard it faced was small. Even during the day it was necessary at certain times to turn on the artificial light. since you can't have everything, I asked for a room away from any possible source of noise, despite how sad the room was, I have to say that none was heard.

The room was a good size and comfortably furnished. Bathroom had a tub and a shower. WiFi was included in the price - and was of usable speed (not always so with "free" WiFi). The location was good, close to the old city centre. Staff were helpful and pleasant, and spoke good English. The local colleagues I went to meet were surprised at what good value the hotel rates were. This was our our first visit to Oviedo, and we didn't have time to see much. We'll go back soon for a long weekend, and will stay at this hotel when we do.

The room was not air-conditioned, but it was comfortable to sleep with the window open and the shutter closed - except for our first morning. Our room faced onto the street and garbage collection below our window at 2:45 am was quite loud. Not very important - only Spanish TV channels. But we didn't go to Oviedo to watch TV - and we did learn a few words of Spanish by turning on the text service.

Convenient central location once found. Very helpful staff. Quiet rooms. Generous and cheap buffet breakfast.

The hotel was relatively close to different attractions in the city and it was easy to walk to and from.

The staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful, the rooms were small and not completely clean, and the rooms were not quiet.

The upper two stories of the hotel were closed and there was a hole in the wall, thinly disguised. The breakfast (paid for) consisted of stale bread, no coffee and lukewarm tea.
